Qualifications

• Equivalents in education/experience may be substituted per MassDOT requirements.
• Proficiency in Civil Engineering fundamentals and software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and monitors construction field operations for conformance with MassDOT policies and procedures.
• Inspects and monitors contractor operations.
• Samples and tests materials in conformance with RMS procedures.
• Monitors construction activities and recommends changes to procedures, methods, and materials.
• Monitors utility contractors’ progress for conformance with Force Account work and schedule impacts.
• Enforces contractor compliance with safety, environmental, and project plans.
