Job summary

SilencerCo is seeking an Applied Innovation Intelligence Lead to bridge elite end-users, design teams, and real-world problem solving. You will identify mission-critical challenges faced by operators and translate insights into actionable opportunities for product teams.

This field-facing role requires strong access to Tier 1/SOF networks and the ability to distill operator needs into clear input for Engineering, Design, and Product Management.

Qualifications

• Established access to Tier 1 or special mission units and familiarity with their workflows.
• Strong understanding of the commercial shooting and defense market and hands-on training experience.
• Ability to analyze and clearly communicate complex operational problems to design/engineering teams.
• Demonstrated capability to differentiate root causes from symptoms to guide meaningful solutions.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with Tier 1, SOF, and special mission units to uncover operational needs.
• Synthesize intelligence on technologies, equipment trends, and pain points across markets.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Product Management to guide early-stage development.
• Support ideation, product evaluations, and prototype testing.
