SilencerCo, LLC in Utah is seeking an Applied Innovation Intelligence Lead to bridge elite end-users, design teams, and real-world problem solving. You will identify mission-critical challenges faced by Tier 1/SOF operators and the commercial shooting community, then translate their experiences into actionable opportunities for product development teams.

This field-facing role requires building trusted relationships, distilling needs from in-the-field feedback, and guiding early-stage product

Qualifications

• Established access and relationships within Tier 1 circles and end users.
• Strong understanding of the commercial shooting/defense market with hands-on training.
• Ability to analyze and clearly communicate complex operational problems to design and engineering teams.
• Ability to differentiate between symptoms and root causes to guide meaningful solutions.
• Excellent communication, situational awareness, and discretion with sensitive information.
• Demonstrated business development experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen; ITAR controls; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with Tier 1, SOF, and special mission units to uncover operational needs and emerging challenges.
• Maintain active involvement within the commercial shooting and training community, including participation in classes, forums, and events.
• Identify and articulate core problems—distilling feedback beyond what customers say they want to what they truly need.
• Provide structured intelligence on current and emerging technologies, equipment trends, and pain points across defense and commercial markets.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Product Management teams to guide early-stage product development and innovation roadmaps.
• Contribute to ideation sessions, product evaluations, and prototype testing.
