Job summary

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc. is seeking an Industrial Engine Field Technician to diagnose and repair prime power systems, engines, and generators. Duties include wiring, controls, and safety systems, with occasional shop work and field assignments.

Applicants must be prepared for overtime and weekend work, pass required DOT and driver qualifications, and thrive in an industrial environment across diverse weather and job sites.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a technical school, military school, or relevant working experience acceptable to the company.

Responsibilities

• Independently diagnose and repair prime power and standby electrical power installations in multiple or parallel operation.
• Understand and operate automatic start/stop controls, safety shut‑downs, switch gear, circuit breakers, and control panel wiring.
• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain diesel, gas, and marine engines; perform work on generators and components.
• Safely assemble/disassemble equipment; repair and maintain temperature control and air compression equipment; complete service reports and work orders.
