Job summary

Airswift is seeking an I&E technician for a 12-month assignment in Carlsbad, NM. The role emphasizes electrical maintenance and instrument equipment activities within an oil and gas processing environment, with a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental standards and timely delivery of maintenance work.

The ideal candidate has experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrument and electrical systems, plus knowledge of PTWS and LOTO procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining electrical systems and instruments in processing/ refinery environments.
• Ability to apply and follow work permits via PTWS.
• Experience with electrical isolation and LOTO on equipment.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain instrument equipment per standards and procedures.
• Support electrical maintenance and control systems troubleshooting.
• Perform electrical isolation activities and LOTO procedures.
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams for timely completion of work.
• Generate MOCs for electrical and control-related equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Operations Integrity Management System requirements.
