Job summary

Airswift is seeking an Instrument and Electrical Technician III - Automation in Carlsbad, NM. The role focuses on automation, instrumentation, electrical systems and controls across processing and gas compression facilities, with hands-on PLC, SCADA, and field maintenance work.

Candidate will operate with minimal supervision, work well in a team, and support safe, reliable site operations. Travel and call-out rotation may be needed to cover nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining electrical systems, instrumentation and controls in oil and gas processing facilities.
• Strong experience working within gas compression facilities.
• Experience maintaining and installing automation and I&E equipment, including PLC components, wired and wireless transmitters, communications equipment and HMIs.
• Understanding of oil and gas production equipment and operations.
• Ability to support operational duties as required within a field‑based environment.
