Job summary

The I&E Lead is responsible for leading field-level instrumentation, electrical, automation, and troubleshooting activities across Flywheel Energy’s Eagle Ford operated assets. This role serves as the primary field resource for maintaining reliable production operations through safe, efficient, and proactive management of electrical and instrumentation systems.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
7+ years oil & gas field experience in electrical/instrumentation/automation.
Ability to read electrical schematics, loop drawings, and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

Lead troubleshooting and repair for electrical, instrumentation, and automation outages.
Support reliable operation of production facilities and associated infrastructure.
Diagnose PLCs, RTUs, VFDs, transmitters, motor controls, and SCADA systems.
Coordinate field response to minimize downtime and deferred production.
Ensure preventative maintenance is documented and executed.
Oversee installation, calibration, and repair of field instrumentation and electrical systems.
Support commissioning and startup activities for new wells and facilities.
