Job summary

Certarus is seeking a HSE & Transportation Specialist to ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations across Delaware Basin operations, with frequent regional travel to field sites. The role reports to the HSE Manager and requires strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, MSHA, and EPA rules; a Class A CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of HSE/Transportation compliance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, OSHA and/or MSHA regulations.
• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement is preferred.
• Experience implementing HSE and DOT policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory compliance: act as technical expert on OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, MSHA, EPA regulations.
• Develop and maintain HSE and DOT policies and procedures with regional managers.
• Lead safety programs and driver training & evaluations.
• Conduct field audits of facilities, equipment, and client sites.
• Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions with reporting.
