Job summary
ENFRA is seeking an Area HSE Specialist to support project safety across our business units. You will supervise safety programs, perform field inspections, and train workers on hazard controls and proper PPE use. Travel to job sites is required, with responsibilities centered on preventing accidents and ensuring compliance. A strong safety certification and 5 years of construction safety experience are expected.
Qualifications
Recognized Safety Certification and ability to obtain/maintain required credentials.
Five years of construction experience and on-site safety exposure.
Ability to train and influence organizational safety behavior.
Responsibilities
Participates in field safety orientation and training.
Conducts daily machine, equipment, and work area inspections for compliance.
Ensures proper use of PPE and safety equipment.
Inspects areas for fire-prevention and first-aid readiness.
Tests hazard exposures and documents findings with corrective actions.
Investigates accidents and recommends preventive measures.
Assists in developing JSA, SHMP, and PSSP safety plans.
Conducts weekly safety meetings and safety training.
