Job summary

MICON Group, Inc. is seeking a Health Safety & Environmental Coordinator to conduct audits, investigations, and environmental assessments across construction sites. You will support operations in implementing HSE programs while maintaining strict safety standards.

The role requires strong corrective actions, public speaking, and upholding safety culture with travel across the United States, including extended rotations. A valid OSH background and ongoing certifications are valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a safety professional in the construction industry.
• 5+ years of experience as a safety professional in the construction industry (desired).
• OSHA 30hr (Construction) for construction training, or ability to obtain within approved timeframe.
• OSHA 510 and 500 (desired).
• BCSP Certification (CHST, ASP, SCP) (desired).
• Willingness to travel throughout the United States, about 75%, which may include extended duration, is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly job-site visitations, audits and inspections.
• Lead loss incident investigations and emergency response activities.
• Perform environmental assessments and evaluations of facilities and job locations.
• Assist operations with implementation and compliance of HSE programs.
• Promote a positive safety culture and facilitate safety trainings and meetings.
