Job summary

Transurban is seeking an HSE Assurance Advisor to promote a strong safety and environmental culture across highway maintenance and construction. This hybrid role requires field work, audits, and incident investigations to drive continuous improvement in safety, security, and environmental performance.

You will support fleet safety, driver coaching, and agile HSE responses during incidents, while engaging with project delivery, operations, and technology teams in a corporate setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in incident investigations and training delivery.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and field teamwork.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and NFPA 70E.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct assurance activities for high-risk field work.
• Support audits, inspections, and contractor evaluations.
• Develop and improve HSE management plans and safety procedures.
• Coach field teams and contractors to promote hazard reporting and safe work practices.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
