This role requires deep Colorado employment law knowledge and the ability to translate policy into practical action. You will collaborate with recruiting, onboarding, and managers on performance discussions, retention strategies, and career development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an HR business partner, people operations, or employee relations role for hourly/non-exempt workforces.
• Deep fluency in Colorado employment law and local regulations.
• Proven ability to earn trust with hourly employees and translate programs into practical impact.
• Strong judgment in sensitive situations with transparent reasoning.
• Clear, plain-language communication adapted to different stakeholders.
• Builder's mindset enthusiastic about creating scalable systems.
• Experience with modern tools, including AI, to automate and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Partner with field operations leaders to support hourly workforce needs and accessibility.
• Maintain current knowledge of Colorado labor law and ensure compliant operations.
• Design programs that land with frontline teams and translate initiatives into practical tools.
• Collaborate with recruiting and managers on onboarding, performance, retention, and career paths.
• Support frontline supervisors with employee relations and coaching.
• Track turnover, engagement, and compliance metrics to drive improvements.
• Lead investigations and manage workplace issues with sound judgment.
