Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician (Field) to maintain and repair construction equipment, cranes, diesel engines, and related systems. The role starts in Sparks, NV and moves into a service truck, focusing on customer-site operations and progressive training with Komatsu and allied OEM products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate Degree in Diesel Technology preferred.
• CDL preferred.
• At least 5 years hands-on experience in a similar mechanical or field technician role.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and maintain an annual repair efficiency rate of at least 85% by delivering high-quality mechanical repairs and services.
• Keep rework hours under 3% of total billed hours.
• Follow standardized repair times and meet or exceed balanced scorecard objectives.
