Job summary
SiteOne Landscape Supply is seeking a Class A Maintenance Tech to perform preventative maintenance and repairs of heavy equipment in field environments. You will travel to multiple sites and diagnose, repair, and service engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and other mechanical systems on excavators, dozers, loaders, and more.
The role requires experience with diagnostics software, welding, and safe operation of heavy equipment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in yellow steel equipment industry.
- Ability to run diagnostics with computer software to resolve equipment issues.
- Electrical troubleshooting on equipment is required.
- Capable of lifting up to 65 lbs.
- Welding and torch use required.
- Valid driver's license and own tools are required.
Responsibilities
- Drive to equipment locations and perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment.
- Diagnose faults using computerized testing equipment and diagnose diesel engine issues.
- Replace faulty parts and adjust equipment for optimal performance.
- Maintain clean, safe work area and complete shop paperwork.
