Job summary

HRI, Inc. is seeking a heavy equipment and truck technician to inspect, diagnose, adjust, repair and maintain a range of mobile equipment and vehicles. The role is hourly and non-exempt, with supervision from the Shop Superintendent or Shop Leader.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and prefer completion of a Heavy Equipment/Diesel Technology program, with three years of experience preferred. Valid driver's license is required; Class A CDL with HazMat/Tanker endorsements and state

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; heavy equipment/diesel tech program preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting mobile equipment and varying systems.
• Ability to learn and apply GOH Company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and rebuild minor system failures on mobile equipment.
• Safely perform all essential functions.
• Generate report of parts necessary and time required to complete project.
• Safely operate equipment for diagnosing and testing purposes (may require CDL).
• Accurately generate repair work orders in a timely manner.
• Perform cleanup at end of day and store tools properly.
• Communicate with Leaders and Equipment Operators about equipment projects.
• Safely use welding and flame-cutting equipment to perform welding duties.
• Travel to regional job sites; may include overnight stays outside region.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
