Railserve is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to inspect, service, and repair heavy construction equipment at multiple job sites in the United States. Travel to job sites is required, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic required.
• Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and heavy construction equipment.
• Experience using computerized diagnostic tools and systems.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites to inspect, service, and repair heavy construction equipment.
• Inspect trucks, backhoes, bulldozers, and other heavy machinery to ensure safe operation.
• Diagnose equipment faults using computerized diagnostic tools.
• Adjust, repair, or replace faulty components and parts.
• Perform cleaning, lubrication, and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Conduct major repairs and equipment overhauls as needed.
• Collaborate with mechanics and operations teams to support field operations.
• Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment to leadership promptly.
• Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records.
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
