Job summary

Hri,-Inc. in the United States is seeking a heavy equipment and truck technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of equipment, including light to heavy trucks and earthmoving gear. The role operates hourly, with supervision from the Shop Superintendent or Shop Leader.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting systems, generating repair orders, and safety compliance. Travel to regional sites and occasional overnight stays are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Heavy Equipment/Diesel Technology program preferred.
• Prefer three years of experience as a heavy equipment or truck technician.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record; Class A CDL preferred with HazMat/Tanker endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and rebuild minor system failures on mobile equipment.
• Safely perform all essential functions and operate equipment as required.
• Generate reports of parts needed and time to complete projects.
• Communicate with Leaders and Operators about equipment and projects.
• Perform welding and flame-cutting as needed and maintain shop cleanliness.
