Job summary
Keller Foundations, Inc. is seeking a Field Heavy Equipment Mechanic to support geotechnical construction projects in the Miami region.
The role involves hands-on repair of heavy diesel equipment, electrical and hydraulic systems, and preventative maintenance with occasional travel. Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment repairs, be able to read schematics, and operate safely in outdoor sites.
Qualifications
- Hands-on mechanic experience required in heavy equipment repairs.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy equipment repairs.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience with electrical and hydraulic systems and schematics.
- Familiarity with E-stop systems and pilot circuits.
- Capable of maintaining heavy equipment and operating controls.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair heavy equipment including drill rigs, cranes, and diesel-powered machinery.
- Perform electrical and hydraulic diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Adhere to safety standards and OSHA training; work outdoors in varying conditions.
