Job summary

Railserve, part of Marmon Holdings, is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic in Kansas. The role requires travel to various job sites to inspect, service, and repair heavy construction equipment and trucks to ensure safe operation.

You will diagnose faults with computerized tools, perform maintenance, and collaborate with operations teams. A high school diploma or GED and prior heavy equipment experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic required.
• Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and heavy construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites to inspect, service, and repair heavy construction equipment.
• Inspect trucks, backhoes, bulldozers, and other heavy machinery for safe operation.
• Diagnose equipment faults using computerized diagnostic tools.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance, and maintain repair records.
• Collaborate with operations teams to support field operations.
