Job summary

The successful candidate will diagnose issues on excavators, loaders, trucks, and other heavy equipment, work independently with minimal supervision, and support our Mountain Division with efficient repairs and timely service records.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to bend, stoop, stand, and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and coordinate repair and maintenance tasks.
• Inspect equipment and perform diagnostic testing to determine repair needs.
• Perform welding, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs as required.
• Install, align, and balance new equipment.
• Maintain accurate vehicle and equipment service records.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
• Keep the work area and shop clean and organized.
• Follow all company and industry safety standards to maintain a safe work environment.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to team success.
• Be punctual and proactive in assisting with additional tasks as needed.
