Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a Health & Safety Professional 1 to join field projects across the United States. You will lead safety programs, conduct site orientations, and ensure adherence to regulations at client sites.

You will perform inspections, investigate incidents, develop site-specific safety plans, provide training, and maintain official safety records while coordinating with construction leads, subcontractors, and clients to promote a culture of safety.

Qualifications

• A minimum of high school diploma or equivalent with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus 5 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience.
• Degree fields: Safety Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline.
• OSHA30 certification or equivalent safety credential.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall health and safety direction on project sites.
• Administer safety program at construction sites and document training.
• Investigate accidents and near misses; identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Plan and implement site-specific safety plans and training.
• Ensure all personnel adhere to safety policies and maintain records.
• Lead safety orientation and monthly safety meetings.
• Prepare regulatory reports and maintain site documentation.
