Job summary

Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Health Program Manager to lead field-level health initiatives in the Middle East within the Projects team. The role focuses on delivering health programs on time and within budget while promoting compassionate, biblically-based service.

Qualifications include nursing or clinical medicine with licensing, 2+ years in emergency health programming, and a Master’s in Public Health preferred. 12 Bible study credits required; strong communication and leadership essential.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of emergency health programming experience in complex international environments.
• Nursing or clinical background with license and clinical experience.
• Master’s in Public Health preferred; capacity building and mentorship of health teams.
• 12 credit hours of Biblical Studies required; opportunity to complete after hire if needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field-level implementation of Health programs within budgets and timelines.
• Strengthen local partnerships and coordinate with partners and stakeholders.
• Build technical capacity of staff through training and mentoring; conduct clinic visits.
• Assist in program design, proposals, and budgets for health and nutrition initiatives.
• Monitor program effectiveness and expenditures and report on progress.
