Job summary

Samaritan's Purse seeks an Outbreak Readiness and Response Program Manager to join the International Health Unit in North Wilkesboro, NC. The role leads the development and management of global infectious-disease preparedness and response programs, with Kenya as the initial regional hub.

You will coordinate with country offices, hospitals, and ministries, strengthening surveillance, supply readiness, and cross-border outbreak response efforts in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Three years of international outbreak response experience.
• Experience managing international health programs.
• Knowledge of outbreak data analysis and surveillance systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and management of the global infectious-disease preparedness and response program.
• Establish Kenya as the regional operational hub.
• Coordinate with country offices and EMR team to ensure readiness of health programs.
