Job summary

Centific in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a hands-on Hardware PC Technician / Field Support Engineer to back our data collection initiatives. You will build, configure, and troubleshoot desktop PCs and peripherals for AI research projects.

Join a hands-on IT team to set up hardware environments, perform diagnostics, image and deploy systems, and coordinate logistics across Las Vegas and Redmond. A minimum of 2 years of hardware experience and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

2+ years hands-on hardware PC building, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Experience with OS imaging and deployment (Windows 10/11, basic Linux).
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in lab/office setups.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in Las Vegas area.

Responsibilities

Build, configure, and troubleshoot desktop PCs and peripherals for data collection.
Set up hardware environments including monitors, cameras, sensors, and recording gear.
Perform hardware diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, and replacements as needed.
Image and deploy systems with standard OS/software configurations.
Support equipment logistics: packing, shipping, tracking, and inventory across Las Vegas & Redmond.
Collaborate with IT, engineering, and project teams to ensure hardware readiness.
Document hardware configurations, asset tracking, and maintenance logs.
Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when necessary.
