Job summary

The University of Alabama seeks a Research Project Coordinator to support the development and management of AWI CONSERVE projects. You will assist with project design, coordinate field activities, and act as a liaison with internal and external partners across departments.

This role may supervise students, prepare promotional materials, and help identify new project opportunities while working under the Alabama Water Institute in Tuscaloosa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher and some experience coordinating projects.
• Must have valid U.S. driver's license and safe driving record.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills; GIS experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supports development of research project(s) and assists with design, management, and implementation.
• Promotes the project and serves as liaison between internal and external contacts at the University.
• May supervise students, provide general office assistance, and create promotional materials.
