Job summary

Geoprobe Systems® is looking for a service technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and service mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on our drilling rigs. You’ll operate within a dedicated team to ensure customer-ready equipment for environmental, geotechnical, geothermal, and water well industries.

You’ll need strong communication, collaboration, and a drive to help others. Travel to field sites is occasional; hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems is

Qualifications

• Practical experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems and communicate solutions clearly to customers.
• Comfort with reading and interpreting schematic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform all levels of repair and preventative maintenance on customer vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, recommend and repair all critical machine and engine adjustments.
• Study, read, and interpret schematic engineering drawings; Test to ensure accuracy of repairs.
• Maintain detailed records of service interactions, solutions provided, and follow-up actions.
• Ability to cross-train and learn a variety of machines that come into the shop.
• Complete all assignments in a timely manner and meet service delivery schedules.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
