Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Geophysicist to perform a comprehensive range of geophysical technologies in support of geologic, groundwater, environmental, engineering, and materials testing investigations in Texas. The role includes non-invasive surveys from the ground surface and borehole logging to image subsurface conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geophysics, or other geoscience fields is required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and participate in pre-task planning.
• Perform non-invasive geophysical surveys from ground surface and borehole logging.
• Define survey objectives, design approaches, analyze data, and interpret results.
• Support planning, design and construction of infrastructure projects and environmental assessments.
• Willing to travel locally and throughout Texas up to 80%.
