Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Geophysicist to conduct a broad range of geophysical surveys and logging in support of geologic, groundwater, environmental, engineering, and materials testing investigations. You will design survey methods, collect data in the field, and interpret results to support infrastructure projects such as roads, tunnels, and airports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or Geophysics.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.
• Certification in field of expertise preferred based on state-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive geophysical surveys from the ground surface and boreholes.
• Analyze geophysical data and provide interpretation for planning and design of infrastructure.
• Support proposal and project delivery with quality standards.
• Conduct site visits, field observations, and data collection.
• Assist in selecting survey methods and techniques for field investigations.
• Maintain safety and report issues per company guidelines.
