Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Geophysicist to perform a comprehensive range of geophysical surveys in support of geologic, groundwater, environmental, engineering, and materials testing investigations. You will conduct non-invasive geophysical surveys, provide images or models of subsurface conditions, and interpret results to support infrastructure projects and environmental assessments.

Terracon’s geophysics team works across service lines and sites to ensure safe, compliant project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or Geophysics required.
• A valid driver's license with acceptable violation history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and participate in pre-task planning.
• Developing level Geophysicist responsible for conducting geophysical surveys; assignments designed to develop knowledge and abilities.
• Performs site visits, field observations and field data collection or assignments.
• Assists in geophysical data collection and tests to evaluate, plan and permit projects.
• Outlines required investigative program(s) by selecting the proper alternative techniques to conduct site studies in field of expertise.
