Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Geophysicist to perform a comprehensive range of geophysical technologies for geology, groundwater, environmental, engineering, and materials testing investigations. The role involves non-invasive surveys from the ground surface and borehole logging to image subsurface conditions.

Minimum 1–3 years of experience with a BS in Geology or Geophysics is required; a MS is preferred. Some projects may require a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geophysics is required.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in geophysics or related field.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and report safety concerns to management.
• Conduct geophysical surveys and logging in boreholes as needed.
• Analyze geophysical data and prepare written interpretations.
• Develop written proposals and assist senior staff on larger projects.
• Supervise field staff and oversee data collection activities.
• Work under supervision of Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer.
