Job summary

AECOM is seeking a self-motivated Geologist for our Denver, Colorado office to support Project Managers in planning, overseeing fieldwork, and evaluating hydrogeologic aspects of environmental projects for federal, refinery, and commercial clients. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in geology or related geological discipline.
• 4+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• Must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Manage field-based tasks of environmental investigation and remediation programs.
• Oversee and lead well installation and sampling tasks; communicate with PMs.
• Data management, evaluation and report writing for environmental investigations and closure reports.
• Interpret and record data; assess findings against regulations to ensure compliance.
• Travel to project locations; travel time expected to exceed 50% of the time.
• Support multiple projects, mentor junior staff, and uphold health and safety standards.
