Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a detail oriented, entry-level Field Geologist or Environmental Scientist to join our Wilmington, DE team. This full-time role combines field and office work with 50 to 70 percent spent in the field, performing drilling oversight, sampling, and data management.

The position requires a BA in Environmental Science or Geology, safety training such as OSHA HAZWOPER, and strong communication. Travel may be required; mentorship and growth are emphasized within our Resilience

Qualifications

• BA in Environmental Science, Geology or related field.
• Current OSHA HAZWOPER 40 HR / 8 HR training is preferred.
• HAZWOPER training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of drilling operations (installing monitoring wells and soil or rock descriptions).
• Soil, groundwater, and air sampling in compliance with State and Federal standards.
• Implementation of injection or other in-situ based remedial technologies including oversight of system remedial installations.
• Subcontractor oversight.
• Data management and preparation of technical reports and proposals.
