Job summary

S&K Technologies, Inc. in Pharr, TX is seeking a Field Generator Technician to install, maintain, and repair standby power equipment on Tower Systems projects up to 500 feet. You will perform scheduled maintenance and troubleshoot diesel/propane generators from multiple manufacturers.

This role requires ability to work in all weather and at heights, with pre-employment screenings and safety training as part of the job. Prior generator experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of generator technician experience.
• Basic knowledge of electricity and diagnosing engine issues.
• Work in all weather conditions and adhere to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair standby power equipment up to 500’ in height.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using test equipment and hand tools.
• Pre-order parts and manage inventory for repairs.
• Plan methods and sequence repairs and load materials for transport.
• Adhere to the company safety program and complete timecards weekly.
• Work as a critical crew member on Tower Systems Sustainment projects.
