Job summary

Mt Olive Pickles is seeking an Outside Production Equipment Operator to manage forklifts, tractors and pickle pumps for moving green or brined stock to processing, packing and grading areas. You will use a 30,000 lb lift to move cucumbers to tanks and coordinate with internal teams.

The role requires certified forklift operation, mechanical aptitude and the ability to read instructions and record stock movements. Safety rules and quality control are emphasized in daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with additional training as needed.
• Certified forklift operator with training to operate larger forklift/tractor.
• Demonstrated mechanical ability and ability to troubleshoot equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate 30,000 lb forklift to transport green stock to tanks.
• Operate tractor to haul brinestock and empty bins to processing areas.
• Record stock movements and maintain inventory to prevent downtime.
• Monitor pickle pump for mechanical issues and report to supervisor.
• Assist maintenance with minor repairs and setup of pickle pump.
