Job summary

Mt. Olive Pickle Company, Inc. seeks a warehouse forklift operator to support our distribution operations in Mount Olive, NC. Operate a forklift, perform pre-operational checks, and assist with loading/unloading finished goods for transport while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The role requires safety awareness, basic math, and clear English communication. Forklift certification is preferred; training may be provided with emphasis on OSHA and SQF warehouse standards.

Qualifications

• High school plus additional training preferred.
• Math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English needed for job tasks.
• Certified forklift operator.

Responsibilities

• Completes Pre-Operational Checklist each day before operating lift.
• Operates forklift to load finished goods for transport to customers.
• Inspect all trailers to meet SQF requirements before shipments are loaded.
• Hand stacks cases of finished goods on pallet.
• Maintains and reports data for all orders loaded during each shift.
• Delivers incoming merchandise to proper department.
• Cleans floor and surrounding areas; keeps warehouse orderly.
