Job summary

Toyota Lift Northwest is seeking a seasoned Forklift Field Technician to join our Kent, WA team. You will perform preventive maintenance, field repairs, and safety inspections at customer sites, ensuring equipment operates safely and reliably.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of mechanical experience, strong communication, and the ability to lead small teams. OSHA safety standards are followed, with emphasis on 5S and proper PPE usage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented and organized with ability to shift priorities.
• Mechanical ability to repair equipment and adapt to various machines.
• Usually journey level with over 4 years of professional mechanical experience.
• Strong communication skills, written and oral.
• Ability to lead and supervise small groups of technicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM services at a designated customer location.
• Perform field repairs at a designated customer location.
• Upsell during repairs and Preventative Maintenance agreements.
• Check in with Dispatcher via phone in the morning and during the day and at end of day.
• Document all work orders using Catavolt.
• Complete safety inspections and maintain PPE and safety cones.
• Notify supervisor of safety concerns.
