Job summary

Atlanta Fork Lifts, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and perform scheduled maintenance on fuel powered and electric forklifts at customer sites.

You will work with the Service Coordinator, respond to service calls, and communicate with customer staff to address forklift and material handling needs. The role requires 2–3 years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license required.
• 2–3 years of relevant field service experience.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various environments.
• Willingness to attend training classes and online courses.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.
• Excellent communication with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair forklifts and related equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections.
• Work on-site at customer locations and communicate with customer staff.
• Coordinate with Service Coordinator on service calls and rentals.
• Identify larger jobs and liaise with customers and office on rentals and repairs.
• Keep paperwork neat and accurate; manage time and billing.
• Maintain service vehicle and order parts from the parts department.
• Follow safety procedures and operate tools safely.
• Read and follow service manuals and interpret schematics as needed.
• Possess basic computer skills and participate in training.
