Job summary

ACRT Pacific, LLC is seeking a Vegetation Management Inspector (VMI) to patrol circuits, identify tree work, and coordinate with PG&E and contractors. This entry-level, full-time position requires residence within 50 miles of Richmond, CA and a background in forestry, arboriculture, biology, or related fields.

You will conduct inspections, document findings, and support safety and regulatory compliance. The VMI will work with tree clearance crews, assist in permitting, and serve as a liaison

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Class C license required.
• 1 year experience as a VMI or equivalent on utility contracts preferred.
• ISA Arborist certification encouraged; related degree acceptable.
• Strong map-reading and field data recording skills.

Responsibilities

• Patrol circuits and prescribe work to be performed by tree contractor.
• Identify pruning/removal needs and document work for compliance.
• Notify owners and coordinate with PG&E and contractors.
• Use handheld devices and VMDSR for data collection and reporting.
• Support emergency response and safety requirements in the field.
