Job summary

ACRT Pacific is seeking a Senior Vegetation Management Inspector (SVMI) to oversee tree clearance operations, inspect crews, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. The role requires forestry or related background, strong communication, and ability to coordinate with clients and PG&E representatives.

The SVMI will patrol circuits, determine trim needs, audit VM work, and assist in training and emergency response while maintaining documentation in VMDSR systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and a valid Class C driver’s license.
• Five years of experience in tree crews or vegetation management with certification OR five years in VM inspection roles.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work with clients, crews, and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Patrol circuits and prescribe work by PG&E tree contractor to meet annual VM standards.
• Determine next trim or removal needs and assess hazards.
• Audit field work and ensure compliance with VM standards and permits.
• Coordinate with PG&E representatives and clients; support training of VM Inspectors.
• Assist in outage investigations and emergency response as required.
