Job summary

AES Indiana is seeking a Utility Forester to support vegetation management and field inspection programs across the AES Indiana system. You will audit line-clearing work, coordinate customer notifications, and address property-owner concerns to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include meeting with customers, distributing work notifications, and documenting compliance findings to support positive relationships and smooth project execution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ISA Certification preferred.
• Experience in tree care or utility industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections and audits of line-clearance work to ensure quality, safety and compliance.
• Coordinate customer notifications and address property-owner concerns.
• Verify adherence to safety standards, environmental requirements and vegetation management practices.
• Meet with customers and property owners to explain planned vegetation work and maintain positive relations.
• Distribute notifications for upcoming vegetation management work and access for crews.
• Document findings and ensure compliance with AES Indiana standards.
