• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders from a supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policies; conducts safety training.
• Discusses access, power interruptions, and scope with property owners; refers complex cases.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains good customer and public relations through effective work delivery.
• Investigates incidents and minor damage claims; reports to foreperson as needed.
• Keeps accurate records, timesheets, and crew activity reports.
• Controls crew costs and optimizes use of personnel and equipment.
• Submits reports on incidents, truck breakdowns, and follow-ups.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments during blocking of streets or driveways.
• Sets up barriers and safety signs to protect workers and the public.
