Job summary

XKIG in Morristown, TN is seeking a Foreperson to coordinate crews, equipment, and supplies to complete jobs per contract. A valid CDL is required to operate company vehicles and perform on-site tasks in all weather conditions.

The role involves directing crews, assigning tasks, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining accurate records. This position may require travel for storm restoration work and participation in safety trainings. Full-time with benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Active CDL required for safety and operations.
• First-aid certification and CPR are required or must be obtained.
• Driver’s license required to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to read drawings and symbols for lines and equipment.
• Willingness to travel for storm restoration work when needed.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Direct crew members and manage equipment each day.
• Assign tasks to crew members and supervise performance.
• Plan and execute assigned work safely and professionally.
• Organize job assignments for maximum efficiency.
• Notify property owners for access and obtain permissions.
• Ensure PPE use and safety practices on site.
• Trim/remove trees using ladders, belts, and powered tools.
• Load/unload trucks and manage debris/brush flow.
• Inspect work to contract specs and inform the customer of completion.
• Keep records of time, equipment, and material used.
• Perform daily truck inspections and briefings as required.
• Restock supplies and coordinate maintenance.
• Respond to emergencies and mitigate hazards.
• Perform duties for storm work when required.
