Job summary

XKIG is seeking a Foreperson in Illinois to coordinate crews and equipment to complete all contracted vegetation management projects safely and efficiently. This role requires directing daily tasks, ensuring PPE, following safety rules, and communicating with property owners.

Travel may be required for storm restoration work. You will inspect equipment, keep records, mentor crew, schedule breaks, perform daily truck inspections, and coordinate with customers to obtain access.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or education equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen as required for this job.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate crew members, equipment, tools, and supplies to complete jobs according to contract specifications.
• Direct crew members and manage equipment each day.
• Assign tasks, supervise performance, and plan safe, efficient work.
• Notify property owners of presence and obtain access for work.
• Ensure PPE is worn and safety practices followed.
• Maintain records of time, equipment, and materials used.
• Perform daily truck inspections and routine equipment maintenance.
• Travel for storm work as needed.
