Job summary

Snelling is recruiting for an experienced Construction Field Foreman with low-voltage systems experience for an engineering company in the Trafford area. You will lead installation crews and oversee field operations for perimeter security projects, traveling up to 60% to job sites nationwide with potential global travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with low-voltage electrical systems or related trades.
• Minimum 2 years supervising crews on construction sites.
• Ability to read electrical control prints, schematics and drawings.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on maintenance/install experience.
• Proficient in identifying electrical malfunctions with precise instruments.
• Familiar with E&I practices and procedures.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct installation crews on active construction sites with safety and quality focus.
• Lead installation, maintenance and commissioning of low-voltage systems, barriers, gates and safety devices.
• Conduct toolbox talks, enforce safety protocols and OSHA compliance.
• Read project drawings, schematics and specs to plan work.
• Manage crew schedules, materials logistics and on-site inventory.
• Perform quality inspections and maintain daily reports and timesheets.
• Troubleshoot field issues and escalate to engineering when needed.
