Field Force / Sales Force Effectiveness Professional

We are looking for a Field Force / Sales Force Effectiveness professional with 3–9 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or MedTech industry. The candidate will work closely with commercial and sales teams to support field force effectiveness, deployment, coverage, targeting, and sales-force optimization initiatives. The role requires a good understanding of pharmaceutical field operations, customer engagement, sales-force structures, and commercial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support initiatives related to field force planning, deployment, and effectiveness.
  • Analyze field force structures and identify opportunities to improve sales-force productivity.
  • Support effective allocation of field resources across geographies, products, and customer segments.
  • Monitor field force coverage and identify gaps or opportunities for improvement.
  • Work with commercial teams to understand field-force requirements and business priorities.
  • Support territory planning and alignment activities.
  • Analyze territory coverage and field-force workload.
  • Support optimization of customer allocation across field representatives.
  • Work with commercial teams to ensure appropriate HCP/account coverage.
  • Assist with customer segmentation and prioritization where required.
  • Support HCP/account targeting and prioritization based on business requirements.
  • Analyze customer potential and engagement opportunities.
  • Help develop and maintain target lists for field teams.
  • Support field-force strategies to improve coverage of priority HCPs/accounts.
  • Work with sales and commercial teams to analyze field-force performance.
  • Track key metrics related to field coverage, productivity, customer reach, and sales performance.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate field-force insights.
  • Use available internal commercial data and external market data to support business decisions.
  • Translate field-force data into actionable business insights.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Analytics, and other business teams.
  • Understand business requirements related to field-force deployment and customer coverage.
  • Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support multiple field-force initiatives and deliverables within agreed timelines.
Requirements
  • 3–9 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical/life sciences field force or related commercial operations.
  • Good understanding of pharmaceutical field-force structures and operations.
  • Experience working with sales representatives, territories, HCPs, accounts, or commercial teams.
  • Understanding of field-force deployment and customer coverage.
  • Exposure to territory alignment, HCP targeting, segmentation, or resource allocation is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work with commercial and sales data.
  • Strong MS Excel skills.
