Job summary

Colonial Group in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Distributor Sales Representative – Outside to sell food products and supplies to food service establishments and exceed BEK sales goals. The role includes visiting customers in assigned territories and building a robust pipeline.

You will compile leads from research, travel to customer sites, perform daily sales tasks, and drive growth through proactive prospecting and accurate forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred or equivalent sales experience.
• At least three (3) years of food service sales experience selling to restaurants for a major food service distributor.
• Good computer skills, with ability to use standard Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
• Ability to learn and use relevant internal applications.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts for sales, commissions and volume.
• Valid driver’s license with no more than 3 moving violations within last 3 years; No DUI convictions within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Sell food products and supplies to food service establishments to meet BEK sales goals.
• Travel to customers’ places of business in assigned territories to ensure products are maintained.
• Compile a list of prospective customers from research for use as sales leads.
• Perform daily sales tasks to ensure optimal sales performance and goal attainment.
