Job summary

Prairie Engineers, P.C. is seeking an entry-level Surveyor based in one of several Midwest locations including Lenexa, KS. You will work with seasoned surveyors on boundary, topographic, hydrographic, and LiDAR projects as you gain experience toward licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in surveying or a related field with licensure pathway interest.
• Willingness for overnight travel (about 80% initially).
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Interest in mathematics, technology, and practical problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform boundary, topographic, geodetic control, hydrographic, and other surveys.
• Operate GNSS receivers and robotic total stations in the field.
• Collect field measurements with safety and quality standards.
• Process data in the office and verify field measurements.
