Prairie Engineers, P.C. is seeking an entry-level Surveyor in the Midwest region with offices in Hannibal, MO; Keokuk, IA; Columbia, IL; Springfield, IL; Hillsboro, IL; Vicksburg, MS; or Lenexa, KS.

You will work with experienced surveyors on boundary, topographic surveys, LiDAR, and related disciplines to build your surveying career. This full-time role blends fieldwork with office tasks such as survey calculations, plats, and legal descriptions under licensed supervision, with extensive travel

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field with licensure pathway interest.
• Willingness to travel overnight on ~80% of assignments initially, trips up to 10 days.

Mansioni

• Perform boundary, topographic, geodetic control, hydrographic, and other surveys.
• Learn to operate GNSS receivers, robotic total stations, and field data collection equipment.
• Collect field measurements ensuring accuracy and safety, following standards.
• Perform office calculations and process survey data; prepare plats, plans, and legal descriptions.
• Support state and federal projects nationwide; collaborate with team members.
