Job summary

Wilson Construction Co. is seeking an entry‑level Assistant Project Manager to support utility distribution construction projects.

The role blends field and office work, with field offices locally and travel to project sites throughout the Western United States. You will work under an On-site Project Manager/Project Superintendent and contribute to planning, coordination, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Experience in Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6 is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to coordinate, track, meet deadlines, and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers and Schedulers with administrative tasks.
• Enter daily project status data and prepare 3- and 5-day look‑aheads.
• Prepare RFIs, transmittals, and submittals; schedule materials and track deliveries.
• Assist with approval of material invoices and track equipment in the right‑of‑way.
• Maintain spreadsheets and deliver paperwork; provide overall project support across departments.
