Job summary

Vinmar-International is seeking a Fluid Technician to support hydraulic fracturing operations at customer locations. The role involves mixing, monitoring, and maintaining fluid systems to ensure performance, safety, and efficiency on frac jobs.

Ideal candidates will have prior frac experience and a solid understanding of oilfield service operations. The position requires outdoor work and a valid driver’s license depending on location. Per diem and travel may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous hydraulic fracturing experience is required.
• Experience with crosslinked (X-Link) fluid systems preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and physically demanding environments.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, and monitor fracturing fluid systems according to job requirements.
• Assist with loading, handling, and transfer of chemicals and additives used in frac operations.

Job Summary:

The Fluid Technician is responsible for supporting hydraulic fracturing operations by mixing, monitoring, and maintaining fluid systems at customer locations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring fluid performance, operational efficiency, and safety throughout frac operations. The ideal candidate will have prior frac experience and a strong understanding of oilfield service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, mix, and monitor fracturing fluid systems according to job requirements.
• Assist with the loading, handling, and transfer of chemicals and additives used in frac operations.
• Monitor fluid properties and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate records of fluid usage, inventory, and field reports.
• Troubleshoot fluid-related issues and communicate effectively with field supervisors and customer representatives.
• Inspect, clean, and maintain fluid handling equipment and related tools.
• Adhere to all company, customer, and regulatory safety policies and procedures.

Schedule:

• Rotation Schedule: 2 weeks on / 1 week off
• Per diem & company truck available
• Overtime opportunities available

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with crosslinked fluid systems (X-Link/XLink).
• Prior experience supporting pressure pumping or frac operations in the oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of fluid chemistry, additives, and blending processes.
